RUN! I am writing this review to bring attention to ongoing and serious issues at Graylynn Apartments under Rema Property Management. In my experience, the owner and regional manager are extremely difficult to work with. Rather than addressing problems correctly, the company often applies temporary “band-aid” fixes. When repairs are costly or require real intervention, it feels as though nothing gets resolved unless the city becomes involved. The previous manager, Molly, did not maintain the building properly. I’ve been a tenant for 5 1/2 years and aside from a bad experience with a former manager that they got rid of we have had a great experience with REMA. Cassidy, our manager has been kind and receptive to any and every issue that has arisen. She always responds in a timely manner and treats us like people and not just tenants. She’s been a pleasure to have as a manager. Dindo, the maintenance guy, is a wonderful person and someone I consider a friend. I actually look forward to our interactions when I have a maintenance request. I would recommend REMA 100%.

The leasing agent was very friendly and helpful at the beginning of my lease. Throughout my time here, Brittany provided great assistance, but unfortunately, I encountered ongoing issues with her supervisor, Nav. My experience with management was disappointing, as I felt that my concerns were not valued or properly addressed. Based on this, I would not recommend this company to others.

My 4 stars are based on the individual dedication of our maintenance guy Dindo who has been expected to cover 100+ plus units. He's a champion that works too many hours and is expected to complete construction projects he isn't licensed for. I've also had a much better management team in the last year or two. Cassidy and her coworkers seem to be doing their best with the resources they have. Just like Dindo, they seem to be managing more than should be expected from the current staff. One person can make a world of difference. Fall of 2025, I first contacted our new landlord, Brittany Foster. What an amazing surprise. I've lived in our 40+ year-old apartment complex for 18 years, and I'd learned to expect very little beyond rent increases every lease. But from the minute I first contacted Brittany, she was fun, friendly, great on response times, & truly cared. What more, she's a skilled negotiator and cunning multi-tasker, able to arrange deals and complete maintenance projects that went overlooked for a dozen years before she arrived. RUN…. I lived at a Rema property for over 4 years & it continued to go downhill. Had so many different property managers it was hard to keep them all straight. There is one good maintenance worker who’s absolutely amazing & one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, but the rest are awful. Rema should be reported to the BBB. Would never recommend anyone live here! Myself and 3 neighbors had our cars broken into (mine was almost totaled) & the company STILL never fixed the outdoor lighting. Do not rent from this company. They will do all they can to take your money during occupancy and especially after move out. I swear they make up crap to take your deposit. Bugs and trash in the halls all the time, packages stolen consistently and bare minimum repairs. Management is not responsive to repairs. And it was always questionable to me how they bill for utilities. Show me my units bill rather than me take your dishonest word for it. Edit after their response: what a disingenuous response. Horrible! We fully moved out a week before our contract was up, I made sure to pay every last penny of utilities and electricity beforehand. I also reached out THREE times to confirm what we needed to do to finish the contract (final cleaning checklist, final payments, where to drop off keys, etc) and never received a response. A MONTH later we were sent a bill of over $300 (after our $500 deposit was used) for supposed utility bills we didn’t pay, and outrageous charges for paint and cleaning despite the fact we cleaned every crevice (even renting a deep carpet cleaner) Clearly my communicati…

This place is run by people that don’t care at all. Property I lived at was very unkept and clear they do not invest anything into the properties. No maintenance support. And good luck with them cleaning the pool, or opening on time. They also do not answer the phone or respond the texts. They’re terrible…

Be prepared to lawyer up if you ever have a maintenance issue. I had to threaten legal action under the UFPA to get anyone to evaluate my broken air conditioner, despite submitting my first maintenance request seven months earlier. I have had to stay overnight at hotels because my HVAC wasn’t working and the temperature in the unit was in the high 80s at night. The company has dragged their feet replacing the unit despite the HVAC being inoperable, as confirmed by a technician. This property management company behaves unethically and I will not be renewing my lease under any circumstances.

I thought I am the only one had negative experience with Rema until I saw and hear others' comments. Please take time to learn about Rema from other customers before do business with them. Do you ever wonder why the Victoria East Apartments have high turnover of tenants.....save your dollars and save headaches

Terrible. Never responds to anything. Never fixes anything. Random extra charges on rent and they promise to remove them but never do. Maintenance requests are ignored. Texts are ignored. Since they took over the property the common areas are never cleaned or the yard taken care of. I’ll never ever rent from REMA again.
