West Property Management took care of our needs for 9yrs while we were out of state, and the entire team was professional and attentive. They managed turnover in tenants, storm damage, and us as first-time landlords. I would use them again without hesitation.

I have been looking in renting out my home but been hesitant for many reasons. However, Chris with West Property Management has been amazing in assisting with this process. I truly don’t have the time or energy to be a “landlord” and have spent a lot of time looking for the right company to trust. Chris has managed our rental property for about 9 years and we’ve never had an issue. Rent has always been on time and maintenance taken care of. Really takes the worry out of renting property. I highly recommend

Don’t live here but if you’re going to make sure you know your rights as a tenet As part of your lease agreement they include a clause that says you cannot leave a negative review, hence why the rest are positive. They try to retain tenants by making move out impossible, nickel and diming you for every ding, knick and scratch, even those that are not legally claimable as damage according to utah state legislation. When we moved into our rental it was very dirty and certainly had not been cleaned. We left the place a year later in much better shape than we found it- and still we were nickel and dimed to the point that we pretty much didn’t get our deposit back at all. They forced us to buy professional cleaning and carpet cleaning services (yes, separate services) that totaled over $500. They charged us nearly $300 for a couple of very minor paint chips, and there were several other random charges. West Property Management is purely out to squeeze money from tenants wherever they can. If you live in a community where they manage multiple properties, get ready for fines and fees that have nothing to do with you. We had some tenants who weren't picking up after their dog, instead of actually investigating who was responsible, they just slapped every single dog owner with a $150 fine and kept it going. Gunner and Corbin came to my residence that I am currently renting to do some some repairs. They fixed my plumbing issue and were very clean and expedient with a problem that was kind of messy and I thank them for the great job!

I rented a house through West for two years. Maintence requests that West had control over were taken care of quickly. Some requests had to wait for the homeowners to go through their insurance but were taken care of. They do perform quarterly inspections. I loved the place I lived in. Yes, they charge fees and yes you will know what you are mostly paying for to begin with (when you sign your lease). Anything else you are charged for is determined at the end of your term. My partner had locked herself out after hours. And despite the company having another key (they give to maintence people to allow themselves into the apartment when we arnt there) they had her wait for over 2 hours on and off hold only to inform us that they couldn't get anyone to come out and help us and that we would have to find a locksmith on our own. this all happened from 11 pm to 1 am thankfully in the summer and not in the winter where it would have been dangerous. I don’t pay a lot for my townhome, so naturally everything is very old. The blinds are stuck won’t come back down, the toilet paper holders fall off the wall, I replaced the toilet seat myself, the toilets are sliding around on the ground, you know just an old place. I get that somethings will just be that way. Well the disposal broke and the water is sitting in the sink and dripping out the bottom. I called and submitted a maintenance request. Wow!!! Your employee by the name of Gunner was such a pleasure to meet today. He reassured me that he would take care of our oven, that hasn’t been working for almost a month. At first we really didn’t mind working with west. They were always great to get someone out to fix things around the house quickly and the people that they use for repairs and such, are awesome! I absolutely LOVE West Property Management! I’ve already renewed my lease with them once and plan to continue. My apartment is and has continued to be incredibly clean for a basement unit, and everything works well despite how old the house seems to be. I've leased from a few different property management companies, but West Propery Management stands out. They've been very easy to work with and seem to genuinely care for their tenants. I recently had my AC break down, during the hottest part of the summer no less, and property management and the maintenance team did a great job getting my AC replaced as soon as they could. I've been recommending them to people close to me who are looking for new rentals because it's been an overall great experience for me.

Randy was absolutely amazing with the scheduling, they were quick, polite, and very willing to work with my schedule, while Justin was quick and very polite of our space.

We have had issues in the past of not getting things taken care of in a timely manor. But ever since Randy showed up things have been a lot better! Hopefully things keep going up from here!

This is the best property management company I have ever rented from! The staff is super helpful and quick to respond. They are very reasonable and trusting if you are a good tenant. I would like to give a shoutout to Amy, she made it possible for me to get my carpet replaced in an effortless and timely manner. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Living in a unit rented through West Property Management was a pleasure. Everything was clearly communicated and I was never surprised with any notices or inspections! The final walk through especially was pain free and very detailed!

We rented for a short time while in transition. We had not rented for a many years and they were patient with us and our many questions. All the staff was wonderful to work with. They responded to our maintenance issues quickly. We appreciated the regular inspections. Move out we had some hiccups, but it was totally us not following there very through move-out checklist. Overall our experience with West Property was good and we like recommending them to people.

While I appreciate the inspections, I find the frequency of military-style inspections every 3-6 months to be excessive, especially given our responsibility for maintaining smoke detectors and AC filters. It seems there might be an emphasis on finding ways to fine rather than focusing on resident well-being, but it is appreciated to see property managers out. West was a great company to work with. Clear and transparent when issues arose. I appreciate their communication and effort to do right by their renters.

Not sure how it’s even legal to charge an application fee for dependents under 18 years old… minors clearly do not have credit scores so there should be no charge for an application fee of a minor. I will be researching this more to find out the legalities of this practice this company uses.

Great people to work with. I put in a maintenance order and they came the next day. Jimmy came to fix a few things in the house and he was very professional, respectful and quick.

Very sad to leave the house we rented during our time with West Property Management. We were very lucky to have them as our property management. The provided great care when we needed assistance with the house maintenance. They answered all questions we needed as well. We'll miss Chris, Amy, and their team with everything they provided to me and my family. They did a phenomenal job and provided great customer service during our 2.5 yrs in the house.
